The Best Time To Change Your Health Is Before Something Goes Wrong

We built Opti to help people understand what’s happening beneath the surface and act before it becomes disease.

What We Learned Changed Everything.

We spent years looking at health through different lenses.

Brent saw it as a physician. Kevin experienced it personally.

Together, we kept seeing the same pattern.

Most people don’t develop chronic disease overnight. The warning signs often appear years earlier. The problem isn’t that people don’t care. The problem is they can’t see what’s happening.

That realization became Opti.

Disease Begins Before Diagnosis

Most chronic disease develops silently for years before symptoms appear.

Visibility Changes Outcomes

People make better decisions when they understand what’s driving their risk.

Prevention Requires Prioritization

More data isn’t enough. Knowing what matters most creates action.

Most Healthcare Waits For Disease. We Help You See It Earlier.

Most people don’t need more health advice.
They need a clearer understanding of what’s happening inside their body and which risks deserve attention first.
That’s why Opti was built to help people identify hidden patterns, prioritize what matters most, and take action before disease develops.

Advanced Bloodwork Analysis

We look beyond standard lab panels to uncover early signs of metabolic dysfunction, inflammation, insulin resistance, and other hidden drivers of long-term health risk.

Rigorous, Peer-Reviewed Algorithms

Our proprietary methodology helps identify patterns across your biomarkers so complex data becomes clear, prioritized insight you can actually use.

Personalized Health Plans

Once risk is identified, we help focus your attention on the changes most likely to improve your health trajectory and long-term outcomes.

Real-Time Health Tracking

Continuous monitoring helps you see how food, movement, sleep, stress, and daily habits affect your body so you can make informed adjustments over time.

Expert Coaching & Education

Understanding risk is only the beginning. Our team helps translate insight into practical next steps and sustainable behavior change.

Actionable Lifestyle Changes

Small, targeted changes made consistently over time can dramatically alter future health outcomes when focused on the right priorities.

The goal isn't simply to collect more data, it's to create the opportunity for better outcomes. By identifying risk earlier, understanding what's driving it, and focusing on the changes that matter most, people can take action long before disease becomes a diagnosis.

Built By People Who Refused To Wait For Disease

Brent Brotzman

MD–Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer

After more than three decades caring for patients, Dr. Brent Brotzman kept seeing the same pattern: by the time many chronic diseases were diagnosed, the process had often been developing silently for years. He began asking a different question. Instead of waiting for disease to appear, what if we could identify risk earlier and help people change course before symptoms ever developed? That question ultimately became one of the foundations of Opti Metabolics.

Experience & Credentials:

Kevin Bury

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Kevin's journey into metabolic health wasn't professional. It was personal. Despite being active, athletic, and outwardly healthy, he found himself struggling with prediabetes and carrying extra weight he couldn't seem to lose. Working with Brent opened his eyes to how metabolic dysfunction can exist long before disease is diagnosed. By addressing those underlying drivers, Kevin lost 20 pounds, reversed his prediabetes, and experienced firsthand the power of earlier intervention. That experience convinced him that millions of people may be facing similar risks without realizing it, and that prevention should be simpler, more accessible, and easier to act on.

Experience & Leadership

Drew Bury

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Andrew believes healthcare's biggest challenge isn't collecting more data—it's helping people understand what matters most. As a computer scientist and technology leader, he saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between complex health information and practical decision-making. At Opti, Andrew leads the technology and AI systems that transform thousands of health data points into clear priorities, personalized insights, and actionable recommendations that people can actually use.

Identifying Metabolic Risk Before It Becomes Disease

Executive Summary

Your results suggest early signs of metabolic dysfunction are emerging beneath the surface.

While you may feel healthy today, several biomarkers indicate increasing risk for insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic conditions if these patterns continue to progress.

The encouraging news is that these findings were identified before disease developed, creating an opportunity to improve your long-term health trajectory through targeted interventions.

The Optic Metabolic Lens

We look upstream to identify and address the root drivers of chronic disease long before symptoms appear.

1. Insulin Resistance

Excess insulin and poor cellular response drive metabolic dycfuntion and fat storage.

2. Oxidative stress

Imbalance between free radicals and your body's antioxidant defenses.

3. Inflamation

Chronic, low grade inflamation damages tissues and disrupts normal function.

4. Stress Physiology

Elevated cortisol and other stress hormones amplify the damaga and impair recovery.

5. Genetic Risk

Inherited factors can increase succeptbility and influence how your body responds.

6. Disease Progression

Over time, these drivers create the foundation for chronic disease to take root.
